Faith's Touch Music Ministry recorded the self titled cd "Faith's Touch" in 2003. We so enjoyed the opportunity to write, sing and record; we have been singing together since we were 18 months old, so Mom says, and who are we to argue with her!
Psalm 27:6 "I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord."
Ordinary Man
Recording "Faith's Touch" at Ardent Studio in Memphis, TN was an extreme experience and a complete blast! We had the privilege of working with several established names in the industry and many behind the scenes folk whose skill and ability was a joy to just be in their presence. So cool! We have to mention Mr. John Hampton, our engineer for many of the arrangements. This man was working with Stevie Ray Vaughn on his last cd. That was some music they were making! We feel fairly safe in saying working with twins, well these twins anyway, was a pretty unique experience for him, as well, ha! And talk about a real treat - being able to sing with the "Billy River's Angelic Voices of Faith"... these talented men and women literally "took us to church" while recording one evening. Unforgettable! How grateful we are to have had this opportunity!
Since that time, so much life has been walked out. Both of our parents have gone to be with Jesus, kids are growing up so quickly and facing the issues of this world, and what amazing material all of this makes for our testimonies and the music. We have written many more songs and are considering going back in to a studio; not quite settled on the where or when, just feel sure it is in the very near future. At the same time, Pat is working on a book that God has spurred her to write; one of educational benefit and inspiration regarding infant diabetes. Tough subject to write about and especially difficult to live; but it can be done and done successfully!
It is indeed a "head shakin' world" out there right now. We need to keep our eyes looking upward and not looking around us . We are focused on doing what God would have us do with all He has given us. Again, so much need and so much to do!
Hebrews 12:2
Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from beginning to end.
